Hi here!
Here's the few pics of my selfdesigned "Yamato". We have done all the computer modeling. AutoCAD + custom written programs for developing the flat surfaces form 3D model.

Detailed and clean model. Is a little small inaccuracies in the shell plating, but it looks great boat.
I saw Your design blog. It's very interesting.
Jak się uprzesz, to skleisz każdy, nawet źle opracowany model :)))

Don't be so modest :P Yamato is very difficult to build even only from publication but to design and to bulid independly is a extraordinary achievement! Congratulations and waiting for more !

I do believe it is not very difficult - it is simply big. There are too many anti aircraft guns in this Yamato final incarnation - it can be a boring part in assemble. too many of them and all of them are the same - it borin g a bit :)

About to complete DH Mosquito and Douglas DC3. German battleship "Bayern" is on the way. Hope we'll have enought time to complete them quicker.

Oh, Yes it is.
Build a model of the finished cut-out is easy. To design such a large model is an art.
